ASHA http://www.asha.org/public/ is the recognized leader of the speech-language and audiological fields.

What do the letters behind a therapist's/clinician's name mean?
B.S stands for Bachelor of Science degree; M.S. stands for Master's of Science degree. B.A. stands for Bachelor of Arts degree; M.A. stands for Master of Arts. PhD stands for Doctrate degree.

CCC-SLP stands for the Certificate of Clinical Competence that ASHA issues to a speech-language pathologist who has earned a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, completed 300 hours of directly supervised clinical contact hours distributed across the disorder spectrum (voice, fluency, language, hearing and articulation), completed a year of supervised full-time clinical work and passed his or her state's Speech-Language Pathology Board Examination. An audiologist earns a CCC-A. Many, but not all, speech-language pathologists completed additional college classes in order to hold an education degree and a State License in Education  as well as state license in Speech-Language Pathology.

Example: Victoria Ryan, M.S./CCC-SLP (Master of Science/Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology). Victoria Ryan, B.S.-Ed; (Bachelor of Science in Speech Therapy-Education) is not usually included in our signatures.
