I am a finalist (one of the few) for the 2012 Tuscany Prize for Fiction! 

I'm saddened by the death of Maeve Binchy at age72 yesterday. She was one of my favorite authors. I feel like I attended Evening Class and was catered by the folks in Scarlet Feather. I'm reading her writing instruction now. We've lost a good one.
